有这样一个故事：有个小男孩，常常为了一点小事就对身边的人大发雷霆，天长日久，同小男孩玩耍的小朋友越来越少，不管在哪，只要小男孩一出现，玩得正高兴的小朋友们就会一哄而散。为此，小男孩十分难过，他来请教父亲。父亲给了他一大包钉子，要求他每次发脾气后在栅栏上钉一颗钉子。第一天，小男孩就钉了37颗钉子。后来，男孩在碰壁中逐步学会了自我反省和控制，行为有了明显转变。这时，父亲建议道：如果你能坚持一整天不发脾气，就从栅栏上拔下一颗钉子。经过一段时间，小男孩终于把栅栏所有的钉子都拔掉了。父亲拉着他的手来到栅栏旁，说：孩子，你做的很好，我真高兴。可是你看看，钉子留下那么多小孔，栅栏再也不是原来的样子了。当你对别人无礼后，你的言行就像钉孔一样在人们的心灵中留下伤痕。无论你说多少次对不起，那伤痕都永远存在。

所以，为了避免这双重的伤害，我们不能只顾一时的口舌之快而出言不逊、辱及他人，应该让一言一行都文明起来。

中国台湾女作家刘继荣写过一篇文章来介绍他的女儿。同学们都管她的女儿叫23号。那是因为班上总共有50个人，而每次考试，她的女儿都排名23。久而久之，便有了这个雅号，她的女儿也就成了名副其实的中等生。

周末，她和同事结伴郊游。大家各自做了最拿手的菜，带着孩子去野餐。一路上笑语盈盈，这家孩子唱歌，那家孩子表演小品。她的女儿没什么看家本领，只是开心地不停鼓掌。她不时跑到后面，照看着那些食物。把倾斜的饭盒摆好，松了的瓶盖拧紧，流出的菜汁擦净。忙忙碌碌，像个细心的小管家。

回来的路上堵车，一些孩子焦躁起来。她的女儿讲笑话，一个接一个，全车人都被逗乐了。她手底下也没闲着，用装食品的彩色纸盒剪出许多小动物，引得孩子们赞叹不已。直到下车，每个人都拿到了自己的生肖剪纸，伙伴们连连道谢。

期中考试后，她接到了她的女儿班主任的电话。首先得知，成绩仍是中等。不过，班主任说，有一件奇怪的事，是他从教三十年第一次遇到。语文试卷上有一道附加题：你最欣赏班上的哪位同学，请说出理由。全班同学竟然都写上了她女儿的名字。理由很多：礼貌待人，乐于助人，不爱生气，好相处等等。班主任还说：很多同学建议，让你的女儿来担任班长。班主任感叹道：你这个女儿，虽说成绩普通，可是做人，实在很优秀!

同学们，为什么一个成绩中等、没有特长的小姑娘成了全班同学心中的偶像?如果她在和同学们的相处中，没有善良的性格，礼貌的态度，优雅的举止，会成为全班同学最欣赏的人吗?

所以，讲文明，懂礼仪，既是尊重别人，更是自身素质的直接体现。你歌唱得好，能倾倒懂音乐的人;你字写得好，能吸引爱书法的人;你尊重他人，言行文明、举止大方，能征服身边绝大多数的人，你就赢得了朋友，就赢得了人生的丰满。

所以，我们要继承中华民族的优秀传统，习礼仪，讲礼仪，把文明礼仪融化在自己的内心，表现在自己的具体行动中，成为一个讲文明、懂礼仪的人。我们在上课的时候，认真听讲，积极回答，不在下面说话，既是尊重老师的辛勤劳动，也是尊重其他同学。我们和别人发生矛盾的时候，先平静下来，主动检讨自己的错误，这样不是软弱，而是显示了我们的宽容。我们走在校园的时候，看到一片废纸，弯腰把它捡起来，捡起是的一片纸，可纯洁的是我们自己的心灵。我们打扫卫生的时候，扫去的是一块污渍，可净化的是我们自己的灵魂。

the rapid rise in world population is not creating problems only for the developing countries. the whole world faces the problem that raw materials are being used up at an increasing rate and food production can not keep up with the population increase. people in rich countries make the heaviest demands on the world's resources, its food, fuel and land, and cause the most pollution. a baby born in the united states will use in his lifetime 30 times more of the world's resources than a baby born in india. unless all the countries of the world take united action to deal with the population explosion there will be more and more people fighting for a share of less and less land, food and fuel, and the future will bring poverty, misery and war to us all.

for most of the developing countries, it is a good idea to control the population growth. for example, china has carried out birth control for years. and this plan has a great effect on the world population.

if the population continues to increase, if the air and water continue to be polluted, if we don't do something to protect wild-plant and wildlife species will be declining. species and biological communities have difficulty adapting to change. economic opportunities and the quality of life of future generations are also put at risk. by protecting nature, we protect ourselves.

夏日的夜晚总是很闷，压得人喘不过气来，到澄湖去散散心吧!

悠然漫步至澄湖广场，心中不觉一阵清凉舒爽。被水滤过的空气，渗进了我的肺中，再一次唤醒了那已沉睡多时的大脑。缓慢搏击的血管贪婪地吸收着新鲜的氧气，跳动的血液欣喜地四处乱窜，向身体的每一寸肌肤、每一根骨骼、每一条神经传递着生命之声。

目光自然地投向远方，一条威武壮观的水龙正腾空而起，旋转的身体带动起一阵龙卷，在霓虹灯的映照下放射出五光十色的彩虹之光，令人眼花缭乱。升腾至顶部，犹如一颗水雷被投进水中，整条水龙的身体崩裂了，一丝丝细微的水线编织成一块巨大的水帘，向人们铺天盖地的拂来。呼，仿佛是风之精灵和水之精灵带来的礼物，在被水帘穿透的一瞬间，身体仿佛来到了舒适的春的世界，令人感觉连心都开花了!浸湿的灵魂变得轻飘飘的，畅快淋漓的在天空中自由飞翔。我一阵晕眩，原来当个天使的感觉这么棒。

镶嵌在地面上的光滑的鹅卵石仿佛也有了生命，穿起了华丽的衣裳，开起了夏日晚会。变幻着、闪烁着，鹅卵石们像一个个小顽童，欢笑着、奔跑着、跳跃着，为我的脚部做着舒适的按摩。我也不由得随着他们的节奏舞动起来，有如一只轻快的夜莺，自由翱翔，快乐歌唱。

不觉中已置身于竹林，青绿的翠竹在暮色的点染下，以明月做纸，黑夜为笔，用清晰的竹影构造出一幅极具浓郁的中国风味的《墨竹图》。一杆杆竹子仿佛是清纯的少女，在这个舞台上若隐若现，若即若离。

我仿佛穿越时空，来到了古代，在不经意之间，我已经领略了中国传统的古典之美。

坐上小船赏景，眼前别是一番风味。湖中一个与岸似断似连的小岛，仿佛是一只浮出水面的巨大乌龟，高耸的龟壳边缘上，一排排的柳树在向我迎风招手，摆动的柳条仿佛是滑顺的头发，拂水而过，一幅活灵活现的《少女洗梳图》便呈现在我眼前。岛上的各种游乐设施上站满了嬉戏玩耍的孩童，欢笑的声音回荡在空中，空气也好像被感染了，咯、咯、咯地笑了起来，整个湖面似乎也洋溢着喜庆的气氛。

小船随微波荡漾，我感觉自己的心也融进了这江南水乡之中……

在鸦片战争时期，许多的外国人把鸦片带到中国，强迫中国人民吸毒，好多人因为吸上瘾而死去，不过后来林则徐带领着军队把敌人给赶走了，把鸦片给烧了，小学生作文《演讲稿《祖国在我心中》》。可是外国人却带走了一箱箱的黄金白银。留下的却是中国母亲的侮辱。在南京大屠杀中，日本人杀死了我们多少同胞。别的国家也纷纷签订合约，我国死伤惨重。

自从新中国成立以来，祖国母亲富裕起来了，祖国母亲强大起来了，别的国家就不敢来侵略我们了，但与此同时，我们的祖国母亲已经是伤痕累累了。在看到圆明园被毁，我们是既愤怒又伤心，这是因为祖国在我心中。

在北京奥运会上，我认为颜色最鲜艳的国旗是五星红旗，因为祖国在我心中。每当奥运健儿在比赛的时候我们会呐喊助威，这是因为祖国在我心中。每当奥运健儿得奖时，我们会为他感动自豪、感到高兴，这是因为祖国在我心中。

我们是祖国的花朵，是祖国的未来，祖国看着我们长大，祖国的将来要靠我们发展，所以我们要认真学习，长大以后报答祖国。
